Patch Adams

Robin Williams has always been one of my favorite actors. His talent is beyond measure, because he has so much to offer. His role in Father's Day starring with Billy Crystal showed that tremendous talent. There was once scene where he was standing in front of the mirror, and he was trying out different personalities in order to try and fit in with his son. That was a great scene. His upcoming film is another one where he will be feature many sides to his acting.

Patch Adams in a true story about someone who is trying to be a doctor, but his ideas about being one are much different than the others around. Instead of curing the patients with medicine and antibiotics, he plans to use laughter and humor to make the patients feel better. His way of approaching this is objected by the head of the hospital, but his efforts are superb. Not only do the patients respond to him, but his colleagues are also impressed, especially a particular female colleague

His last film, "What Dreams May Come", was something I have never seen before. This one should be classic Williams. I haven't actually seen the film just yet, but it should be a good one. Need a good laugh? Catch "Patch Adams".
